RMCUMC'S

United Methodist Women

What a wonderful group of ladies!  We are the United Methodist Women with a goal of aiding women, youth and children during times of distress, disaster and even depressions.  In 2009, our small group gave over a thousand dollars to local missions and at least $500 to international relief.  We are proud of our record of  helping our sisters around the world.  Twice a year we invite friends from other churches to a luncheon and program. We also spend time in study of other mission areas, and have a reading program which provides books for educating us in the mission arena.  And yes, we do have a lot of sharing time, which some call our "gab-fests"!

We were going a bit too long at one of our meetings when one gal said, "Well, what more can I say?" A voice quietly answered, "How about 'you are adjorned'!"

Officers:  President Pauline Miller,  Vice Pres: Pam Blomberg,  Secretary/Treasure: Halla Scott,    Book/Resource Coordinator: Alice Black and all our  members invite you to join us on the first Wednesday of every month at 12:30.  You, too, can share in our great hour of aiding our sisters around the world!
